Lou’s Auto Maintenance and Repair is a family owned and operated business. We have been serving the south side area of Chicago and its suburbs since 1971. Here at Lou’s Auto, we use the state of the art diagnostic equipment and are ASE certified technicians.
We are a professional service center for ACDelco. As participants in the motorcraft professinal service network, we are provided web-based training for late model vehicles.
At Lou’s Auto, we use factory diagnostic tools for Chevrolet, SAAB, Ford, Lincoln, Chrysler, Jeep, Honda, Nissan, Acura, Mazda and all models of light and medium duty trucks. This allows us to program and update the vehicle’s modules with factory specifications. We use Shopkey Pro ON-DEMAND data program to give us the latest diagnostic trouble code information, TSB information and procedures needed to properly repair any vehicle. Lou’s Auto installs OEM parts or the highest grade available, in order to warranty the parts and labor for 12 months or 12,000 miles whichever comes first.
We can repair and maintain your late model car or light truck. If you have a classic vehicle which requires maintenance, repair, upgrade or update, we can assist you with that as well. Having ASE certified technicians in engine repair, suspension, steering, brakes, electrical/electronic systems, heating and air conditioning and engine performance, allows us to repair or maintain your complete vehicle. We perform wheel alignments with a state-of-the-art computerized alignment machine. We can service R134A and the new 1234YF Freon. We are also able to arrange towing services. We have the capability to program and calibrate Advanced Driving Assist Systems.
